The Friends of Piedmont, our fundraising arm, has developed a new program and joined with several campaigns. Below are details about several ways you can help Piedmont Health in its critical mission of providing a medical home and high-quality care to all, regardless of ability to pay:

Vehicle Donation Program

The Friends of Piedmont is happy to announce a new way for donors to support our work through a vehicle donation program. It is easy for donors to contribute cars and other vehicles while obtaining a tax deduction for their contribution.

If you or someone that you know has a car, truck, SUV, motorcycle, ATV, and boat that is not being used but are unsure what to do with it, then donating it is a great option.

Carl Taylor recently donated his car to the Friends of Piedmont’s new program. “It was so easy,” he said “I called them and they walked me through the whole process. We scheduled a time for a licensed tow company to pick up my car at no cost to me. It was taken to the sale location that day. They were able to sell it very quickly. The Friends of Piedmont got a much needed donation and I received a tax deduction!”

Another employee donated her car that was no longer running. She was tired of seeing it deteriorate in her driveway. She called on a Friday and, by Tuesday, the car was gone. She knew that she had done the right thing and that someone would have a car to fix up or it would be used for auto parts.

To donate a vehicle, either call 877-960-GIVE (877-960-4483) or visit http://piedmonthealth-cardonations.org/HOME.html

State Employees Combined Campaign 1873

SECCLast year, the Friends of Piedmont Health was able to become an approved charity that worked through the state giving campaign to obtain donations from state employees through payroll deductions or one-time donations. This year, we were approved again. We are trying to reach out to state employees in other state organizations. If you know a state employee that is interested in donating during the state campaign, Piedmont Health’s number is 1873.

Combined Federal Campaign

CFCIn our first year of being an “approved charity,” we are letting employees working in federal organizations know about Piedmont Health’s mission and services. Piedmont’s code is 74094.
We can’t market directly to state or federal employees and can only let others know during our events when we are chosen to discuss our services. But you can let all your friends and family know that we work with the state and federal campaigns.

Piedmont Health Employees

The Friends of Piedmont has a payroll deduction plan.
