Activities for National Health Center Week
August 4-10, 2019

Each year, in the second week of August, we celebrate and recognize the contributions of America’s community, migrant, homeless and public housing health centers. Health centers serve over 28 million Americans at more than11, 000 delivery sites in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. territories. Health centers in North Carolina deliver high-quality and affordable care to over 500,000 people.

The theme for National Health Center Week 2019 is “celebrating America’s health centers: rooted in the communities.” Piedmont Health welcomes everyone to participate in our KidFest Back to School events across our service area. Children will be receiving physicals and immunizations, as well as dental care at our sites with dental practices (Burlington, Carrboro, Prospect Hill, Moncure and Siler City health centers).
