Women’s Health

Our healthcare center offers a range of women’s healthcare services, including but not limited to:

  • Prenatal Care: Help ensure a healthy pregnancy and reduce the risk of complications for mother and baby
  • Family Planning: Assist people in attaining their desired number of children, if any, and determining the spacing of their pregnancies
  • PAP Test: Cervical cancer screening (recommended every 1-3 years)
  • Pregnancy Tests: Confirm a pregnancy and discuss available options
  • Birth Control Counseling: Explore and choose birth control options
  • Gynecological Care: Comprehensive reproductive and sexual health care

Minor Trauma Care

Our healthcare providers offer minor surgical services for various skin concerns, including the removal of skin cancers, moles, warts, and other growths. These are outpatient procedures that all our locations are equipped to handle.

Medical Services F.A.Q.'s

Do I need insurance to schedule an appointment?

No, insurance is not required to schedule an appointment. When you call, ask a team member about qualifying for financial assistance through our Sliding Scale Discount Program.

How much will my appointment cost?

The cost of your appointment will vary based on the tier of our sliding scale program you’re on, your health insurance status, and the services provided.

Do you offer walk-in appointments?

No, we do not offer walk-in appointments, but sometimes we are able to get a patient in to see a medical provider on a walk-in basis.

Do you offer back-to-school physicals?

Yes, contact your local Community Health Centers to see if we are doing a special event for your school.

Do you provide specialty care?

Yes, we provide specialty care in areas such as OB/GYN and Behavioral Health. However, your CHC provider may refer you to an outside specialist for certain services.

Mobile Medical Unit

In 2024, Piedmont Health Services launched its second Mobile Health Unit, which provides medical and dental services to meet the healthcare needs of central North Carolina communities. Our mission is to treat, educate, and connect individuals of all ages with needed resources and care. Our Mobile Health Units can be scheduled for public and private events, by employers, and schools.
