Mobile Dental & Health Units

Meeting patients where they are with compassionate primary care and dental services.

Piedmont Health's Mobile Health Units deliver primary care and dental services directly to communities across central North Carolina. By bringing care closer to where people live, work, and learn, we help improve access to quality healthcare and reduce barriers to receiving essential. Our mobile medical and dental units served 614 dental patients and 257 medical patients in 2025.

Services we provide

Our Mobile Health Unit is committed to serving the community through outreach events. To deploy the unit and provide medical services at an event, we must have a pre-scheduled patient appointment roster. While we are happy to participate in community events with an informational table and educational materials, the Mobile Health Unit can only provide on-site clinical services when patient appointments have been scheduled in advance.
