In July, several providers with Piedmont Health Services were appointed as Adjunct Assistant Professors, Medical Student Education by the UNC School of Medicine for their role in teaching medical students. These providers have proven themselves dedicated to excellence in medical student teaching by completing a UNC School of Medicine Faculty Development course, and are currently involved in teaching through the Piedmont Health Services campus in UNC School of Medicine’s Application Phase Community Based Longitudinal Care course.
